Oral presentation at Indiana Academy of Science meeting

March 1, 2018

I'm excited to learn that our work on genome-wide transcriptomics in the aging murine appendicular skeleton has been selected for an oral presentation at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Indiana Academy of Science. This research was initiated with an intramural grant from Marian University and subsequently funded by the Indiana Academy of Science.

Two students have been involved with the project: Aaron Hudnall, DO, who is now a general surgery resident at WVU and Krista Jackson, a graduate student in the group -- without whom these data would have remained locked in an Excel file. She recently received the "Most Likely to go Cross-eyed" award for the innumerable hours she spent processing and interpreting the data.
