Ruthann speaks at MU Gala
November 11, 2017
We're so proud of research group trainee Ruthann for representing the MU student body and delivering remarks at today's Courage to Venture 2017 Gala. She spoke of the impact MU's environment of experiential education has had:
"Because of [the faculty] and the other incredible students in the lab, I have learned so much about research, published an abstract, and presented this research at an international conference. More importantly, I have laughed a lot, grown into a much better person, and made lifelong friends. This is what happens at Marian. You meet people—faculty, staff, students—and they help you grow academically and professionally, but they also show you how to live the Franciscan Values in whatever you do."
Heads up, world - Ruthann is going to change you for the better.
